May 11 2013 was the first time Fork on the Road ventured out of the CBD with a Fork held in the Bowden redevelopment to celebrate the opening of the new and upgraded Fifth Street. Held between 3pm and 9pm this Fork featured over 25 food vendors, drinks available from Plant 13, performances from Cirkidz and music performances from 50 in the City, Louis Donnarumma, Cassie O’Grady, Max Garcia-Underwood and Rocketeers.
Being our first time outside the city, we were very much unsure how it would go, and even with a little bit of rain around it was very well attended, we will certainly be coming back to Bowden in the future.
